Scott York

Award winning builder & owner of SAY Builders.

Scott is the name sake of the acronym SAY = Scott Andrew York.

Scott is also the muscle behind the SAY “Community Spirit” drives – “it feels good to give something back”:

  • Just recently Say Builders has become involved in “Variety… the children’s charity” and took part in the 2012 Newcastle Rally delivering much needed medical and educational supplies to families and communities in remote areas of NSW.
  • In 2010, after seeing a story on A current affair called “Audrey’s Wish”, Scott felt compelled to provide his building skills to help this young family build their home and help Audrey’s wish become a reality.
  • He has also proudly supported the Lions Club of Manly for over 10 years helping young disabled children annually.
  • In 2006 Scott was honourably awarded by Pittwater Council with the “Mayor’s Award for Courage and Bravery” after his involvement in a tragic life saving rescue at the Warriewood Blow Hole.
  • Scott has been an active volunteer member of Warriewood Surf Club for many years. He is accredited with his Bronze and Silver Medallion.
